A fracture was detected in the base of the first metacarpal bone in Fermin Aldeguer's right hand, and surgery is necessary.
It was stated that Aldeguer will return to Spain that same night and will be operated on by MotoGP Medical Director Dr. Angel Charte in Barcelona.
Third Serious Injury in the 2026 Season
Aldeguer is going through a very difficult period due to injuries in the 2026 season. The young rider missed the winter tests and the opening race in Thailand due to a tibia fracture he suffered before the season. Furthermore, a spinal fracture he sustained at Assen caused him to miss three races.
