Pramac Director Believes in Toprak's Strength

In the Aragon race, Pramac Team rider Toprak Razgatlıoğlu delivered a top-level performance on track. Although the rider gained strong momentum midway through the race, he was pushed to his limits by the front tires. As a result of these issues, Toprak dropped out in the 21st lap and retired from the race.

Race Performance and Critical Moments

Toprak Razgatlıoğlu finished 15th in the 12th lap at the Aragon race. He was one of the fastest six riders on track during this lap. The rider's performance in this lap was recorded as the best lap time set by a Yamaha rider throughout the race. Toprak was the fastest seventh in the 13th lap, first in the 14th lap, and fastest eighth in the 15th lap.

However, he began to struggle due to tire wear in the final part of the race. Toprak was the fastest eleventh in the 17th lap, but dropped to 19th place in the next lap and retired from the race. Despite these setbacks, Pramac Team Director Gino Borsoi assessed Toprak's pace and progress midway through the race as a positive sign: "Toprak put on a brilliant ride until the final laps; he even set faster laps than those in the top 10."

Future Assessments

The difficulties at the end of the race indicated that certain factors further complicated tire management. Although this occurred as a result of an accident, it was stated that Toprak had done well this weekend overall.

Season End Perspective

Pramac Racing expressed optimism about Toprak's future. The fact that the rider achieved his best results in the Hungarian Grand Prix and the Brno Sprint race, securing 11th place finishes, drew attention. Pramac Racing is very optimistic about the new 850cc era in 2027 and the transition to Pirelli tires: "Toprak knows Pirelli tires very well. Therefore, he will have a great opportunity to show his speed next year."

It was also emphasized that this season was challenging as the engine is still in the development phase. However, it was assured that Toprak will be in a much different and stronger position next season.
