Zen Mitani

Zen Mitani has been involved in racing since he was three, watching MotoGP at Motegi with his father before he was given the opportunity to ride a motorcycle for the first time. With the support of his family, Mitani worked his way through the Japanese championships, eventually being selected to join the Asia Talent Cup in 2023. Mitani took six podiums in his rookie season, finishing P5 in the standings with high expectations the following season. The Japanese rider dominated the Asia Talent Cup in 2024, winning seven races and eventually securing the ATC title. During this time, Mitani also made his FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship debut at Misano before a full-time appearance in 2025. The Japanese rider became a consistent top 10 finisher in his second season, racing alongside the Red Bull Rookies Cup, where he would claim two podiums. During the 2025 season, Mitani received his Moto3™ World Championship call-up at the Indonesian GP as he now prepares for a full-time move with Honda Team Asia for the 2026 season.
