Marcos Uriarte

Born in Santander, Spain, on the 7th of December 2004, 20-year-old Marcos Uriarte first raced on the European scene in 2018 when he took part in his rookie European Talent Cup campaign. In 2019, Uriarte made his Red Bull Rookies Cup debut and impressively collected his first podium in the class at MotorLand Aragon, which helped the Spaniard finish 10th overall. After another season in the Rookies Cup in 2020, Uriarte claimed two more podiums in the class in 2021, while a first JuniorGP podium was secured in the same season. In 2022, Uriarte made his Moto3 debut as a stand-in rider at Rivacold Snipers at the Catalan GP, and another opportunity arrived in 2024 when Uriarte took part in the Solidarity GP of Barcelona with CFMoto Aspar – a race which saw him finish P25. Uriate arrives into a full-time Moto3 rider with FleetSafe Honda – MLav Racing having finished P5 in the 2024 JuniorGP World Championship, a year in which he pocketed five podiums. However a split with MLav soon followed, but the Spaniard still makes regular substitute and wildcard appearances.
