Daniel Holgado

Coming from the Cuna de Campeones, Daniel Holgado gradually worked his way up the ranks. In 2018, he joined the European Talent Cup, a series in which he was rewarded with a podium and an 11th place finish. During the following season, he began in the FIM CEV Repsol Championship, where he spent three seasons. sixth in his first participation, he exploded in 2021 to be crowned Champion with five victories and three more top three finishes. At the same time, he also achieved good results in the Red Bull MotoGP™ Rookies Cup, finishing 5th and 3rd in the 2020 and 2021 editions. His progression led him to be valued by renowned talent spotter Aki Ajo, and 2022 marked his debut in the Moto3™ World Championship. A debut podium was claimed in Aragon after the start of his season was hampered slightly by a leg break in pre-season, and for his sophomore campaign, a switch to Red Bull KTM Tech3 lay ahead. In 2023, Holgado made significant strides, winning the opening round and leading the World Championship for most of the campaign before faltering in the final races. With a total of seven podiums, including three victories, the Tech3 rider finished fifth overall and entered 2024 as a favourite. Holgado began the season strong, securing three consecutive podiums, including one win to kick-start his Championship charge. However, the Spanish rider was unable to match the results of David Alonso, finishing as runner-up. 2025 marked an important year for Holgado as he made the step to the Moto2™ World Championship with the Aspar Team. It turned out to be a stunning rookie campaign for the Spanish star, clinching his first win in Barcelona, earning his second victory of the season at the Japanese GP, and grabbing the attention of many. Holgado ended his season with another podium, finishing P6 in the standings as he returns to the Aspar Team for his sophomore season in 2026!
