Marc Marquez takes the lead and starts the race.

The Misano FP1 practice session concluded with a victory for world champion Marc Marquez. Leadership changed several times during the 45-minute opening session. Despite the track asphalt being completely dry, an unexpected accident occurred.

Critical Incidents on Track

The practice session began on completely dry asphalt. However, an accident occurred in the 45th second of the session. Yamaha rider Jack Miller crashed into the gravel trap during the turn 4 braking, when the front wheel suddenly lost traction, and a yellow flag was shown for the short duration. The Australian rider was able to return to the session with his backup motorcycle delayed. Ai Ogura and Vinales did not participate on the track.

First Places and the Battle for Leadership

In the first 10 minutes of the track, VR46 Academy riders took the lead. World champion third-place finisher Marco Bezzecchi recorded the first serious time with 1:32.0. Improving his lap time, Bezzecchi achieved a time of 1:32.644, and then secured the lead by setting the fastest lap from the repeats, recording 1:32.025.

Alex Marquez placed second with a time of 1:32.066. Pedro Acosta lost control in Turn 1 and slid into the gravel trap.

Standings in the Final Minutes

A battle for leadership occurred towards the end of the session. Marc Marquez was in third place with a time of 1:32.162, but he secured the top spot by setting a faster lap from the repeats, recording 1:31.680.

Bezzecchi maintained the lead with a time of 1:31.988. Johann Zarco moved into second place with a time of 1:31.650. Following him, Pedro Acosta placed in third with a time of 1:31.678.

The final laps were accelerated. Marco Bezzecchi took the lead with 1:31.647. Johann Zarco missed the best time by a margin of 0.003 seconds. Bezzecchi returned to the top with 1:31.528. Marc Marquez secured the lead by setting a lap 0.060 seconds faster than Bezzecchi. At the end of the session, the top 8 riders were within 0.267 seconds of each other. Factory rider Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) remained in 18th place, under expectations. Our representative (Toprak Razgatlıoğlu) rose to 14th place.
