The incident occurred when Bezzecchi lost control in Turn 13, sliding onto the gravel. This crash happened while he was leading the young race. The accident marked his fifth Sunday without points in the current season.

The rider explained the circumstances of the fall, stating that he made an error in Turn 13 and the front tire slipped away. He emphasized the importance of precise braking technique, noting that he experienced restlessness in the bike during the fast sections, which prevented him from closing the line cleanly when braking.
