Alex Marquez Misses Podium Opportunity in Q2

The mistake in Curve 8 was mine, I turned too quickly into it. In Curve 4 was the last lap. I was already far from the ideal line and I had to steer, come what came. Then I crashed.

The rider emphasized that these mistakes should have been made at the correct time. Marquez stated that a good qualifying is the result of doing the right thing at the right moment. Today was the opposite; he said he made too many mistakes because he focused on lap time instead of pace.

Sprint Performance and Competition

In the Sprint race, Alex Marquez secured the fifth position by fighting hard. Marquez shared his interaction with his competitors during the sprint.

Marquez claimed he benefited from the battle between Fermin Aldeguer and Pedro Acosta, and managed to pass them. However, when Jorge Martin (Aprilia) and Fabio Di Giannantonio overtook him, he observed that the temperature of the front tire increased.
